Manuel Galileo is a China and military balance analyst at SCRAP Weapons. He is researching the topic of conventional counterforce between NATO, Russia, and the People’s Republic of China.

Manuel is a Civil Engineer from the University of Bath and has worked in intergovernmental infrastructure projects in Africa involving China’s Belt and Road Initiative. He has ties to China Foreign Affairs University and has an MA in Diplomacy and International Studies from SOAS CISD. Besides his Portuguese, English, and Spanish, Manuel speaks Mandarin, and has achieved A2 in Russian.
